Fahmida Mirza appeals for helping flood affectees

Speaker of the National Assembly Dr. Fahmida Mirza has appealed to the philanthropists of the country as well as international donor agencies to come forward and help the government provide rescue and relief to tens of thousand rain affected shelterless people of Badin district. The task of relief and rehabilitation of these 1.2 million rain affected people is very difficult and there is the need that the philanthropists and international donor agencies should extend their cooperation as they did during last year’s flood in the province, she said.
